Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was a German dictator and leader of the Nazi party from the years 1933 to 1945. He was known for starting the Holocaust and wanting to annihilate the Jewish race.
Growing up
Hitler was born April 20th, 1889 in the city Braunau am Inn, Austria. Hitler did not have a very happy childhood at all. Both of his parents died at a fairly young age and many of his siblings died too. He didn't do well in school, and was expelled from a couple of schools. Hitler moved to Venice, Italy to accomplish his dream of becoming a famous artist. Unfortunately while in Venice, Adolf found out he didn't have much artistic ability at all and soon became very poor.
WWI solider
When WWI began, Hitler joined the German army. He was awarded twice with the Iron Cross for his bravery. It was during WWI that he began to love war and got his motivation to try to lead Germany to power.
The Holocaust and Ethnic Cleansing during WWII
Hitler was responsible for some of the most horrific crimes committed in human history. He hated Jewish people so much that he wanted to exterminate their race. He forced the Jewish people to go to concentration camps where nearly 6 million Jews were killed. He also disliked the disabled, homosexuals, priests/pastors, gypsies, and others.
